🇮🇹 Matteo De Palo

Matteo De Palo is an established professional racing driver, FIA Silver graded, competing in single-seater racing across multiple national and international championships. He races for Trident in Formula Regional European and Formula 3, where he competes in both the FR1 and FR2 classes. De Palo is part of the McLaren Driver Development Programme.[1]

De Palo has raced four seasons from 2023 to 2026, with 80 starts across Formula Regional European, Spanish F4, Formula 3, British F4 and Italian F4. His strongest campaign came in 2024 and 2025 Formula Regional European, where he took four wins and eleven podiums across 33 starts for Trident, establishing him as a consistent front-runner in that series. In Spanish F4 the previous year, he finished fifth in the championship with one win and four podiums from twenty rounds. His current season in Formula 3 remains in progress; he has accumulated 19 starts across both classes for Trident.[2]

De Palo regularly meets Pedro Clerot, an established professional who has contested the same Formula Regional European and Formula 3 fields, with whom he runs closely matched. He has typically finished behind Enzo Deligny, a professional competitor with similar series experience. He has taken victories over Rafael Câmara, the 2024 Formula Regional European champion and 2025 Formula 3 champion, twice in head-to-head racing. Trident, his team across his peak seasons, has fielded drivers including Lando Norris and has recorded 72 wins across the index.
