Taito Kato is an established professional racing single-seaters in the junior formula ladder. He won the 2024 French F4 championship and currently races for ART Grand Prix in the FIA Formula 3 Championship, where he has taken a maiden pole position at Madrid. His record spans French F4, Formula Regional European, and Formula 3, the latter a multiclass championship that mixes amateur and professional entrants across two classes.[1]

Kato claimed the French F4 title with five wins and twelve podiums across the twenty-round season. He stepped up to Formula Regional European in 2025 with ART Grand Prix, adding two podiums from twenty starts. In Formula 3, he has taken a win and four podiums from nineteen starts so far. Across his three seasons on record, he has six wins and eighteen podiums from fifty-nine starts.[2]

His regular opponents include established professionals Hiyu Yamakoshi and Pedro Clerot, whom he races closely; he typically finishes ahead of professional Kanato Le. Yamakoshi, who has raced across Italian F4, Formula Regional European and Formula 3, has finished ahead of Kato seventeen times despite Kato's wins in their meetings. He has beaten Ugo Ugochukwu, an established professional with a Formula 3 record of thirty-nine starts, on eight occasions.
