🇷🇺 Sergey Sirotkin

Sergey Sirotkin is an established professional racing driver competing at FIA Platinum grade. He races in endurance championships for SMP Racing, most recently in the 24-hour multiclass series that fields both amateurs and graded professionals together. Across his career spanning 2012 to 2025, he has competed in single-seaters from Formula V8 3.5 through Formula 1 and in shared-car endurance racing; his record in formula categories reflects competition against drivers who would go on to become elite professionals and world champions.[1]

In single-seater racing, Sirotkin took one win and six podiums from 23 Formula V8 3.5 starts for Fortec Motorsports, the team that won the 2014 championship. He moved through to GP2 Series with ART Grand Prix, where he scored 13 podiums and 3 wins over two seasons (2015–2016), and briefly contested Formula 2 in 2017. His Formula 1 campaign came in 2018, when he started 21 races for Williams; he also raced in FIA-level sportscar events for SMP Racing, contesting four rounds of GT World Challenge Europe in 2020 and four of the World Endurance Championship across 2017–2019, finishing 16th in WEC points. Since 2024 he has returned to endurance racing in the 24-hour series.[2]

Sirotkin regularly raced against Pierre Gasly, an elite professional and 2013 Formula Renault Eurocup champion who would reach Formula 1 and contest 192 grand prix starts; Sirotkin finished ahead of Gasly on 24 occasions. He finished behind Stoffel Vandoorne, an established professional and multiple series champion including the 2015 GP2 title and 2022 Formula E championship, in their shared races. In his single-seater career, Sirotkin beat Charles Leclerc, a generational-level driver and future Ferrari champion, twice in head-to-head racing across the junior categories.
