Patrick Gallagher is an established professional racing sports cars in IMSA's national multiclass endurance championships, driving GT3 and GT4-level machinery for Turner Motorsport. FIA Silver graded, he has raced for the team across IMSA WeatherTech and IMSA Pilot Challenge since 2018, competing in a field mixing amateurs with graded professionals.[1]

Gallagher won the 2017 Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup presented by Michelin outright, taking nine wins from fourteen rounds in that season for McCumbee McAleer Racing. He has since moved into the larger IMSA platform, accumulating four wins and fifteen podiums across the WeatherTech and Pilot Challenge series combined. In WeatherTech alone, where he has competed most regularly since 2022, he has finished on the podium in eleven of his forty-three starts. His record in single-driver NASCAR Xfinity rounds, all road and street courses, spans eight starts without a podium.[2]

In IMSA's national endurance grids Gallagher sits alongside established competitors who run full seasons in these series. He is closely matched in head-to-head racing with Russell Ward, the 2024 and 2025 IMSA WeatherTech GTD champion, and with Trent Hindman, a Gold-graded professional and former IMSA champion. He has finished ahead of elite-level drivers including Kyle Kirkwood, an Indy NXT and Indy Pro 2000 champion, and Scott McLaughlin, a two-time Supercars champion; both remain exceptional single-race results against much stronger competition rather than a pattern.
