Patrick Gallagher is a professional-level sportscar driver with a Racer Rating of 5,249, placing him in the established professional band; he holds a Silver FIA categorisation and competes primarily in IMSA endurance racing. His career spans ten seasons from 2016 onward, built substantially on success in the one-make Whelen Mazda MX-5 Cup, where he won the 2017 championship with nine wins from fourteen rounds. Since transitioning to prototype and GT racing with Turner Motorsport from 2018 onward, Gallagher has accumulated a further three wins across IMSA WeatherTech and Pilot Challenge competition, though his strike rate has moderated; he averages a finish of eighth across all 87 career starts and has managed one win in forty WeatherTech starts since 2022, his most recent and most sustained racing platform.[1]
