Trent Hindman is a professional sportscar driver racing in national endurance championships in the United States. He holds FIA Gold, the full-professional grade in endurance racing. His primary commitment is to IMSA Pilot Challenge, where he races a GT4-level production-based sports car for RS1, and he also competes in IMSA WeatherTech in the same machinery for Wayne Taylor Racing. He has raced continuously across these series since 2016, accumulating 75 starts in Pilot Challenge and 56 in WeatherTech alongside appearances in GT World Challenge America and prototype classes.[1]

Hindman has won two major championships: the 2019 IMSA WeatherTech title with Meyer Shank Racing, and the 2022 IMSA Pilot Challenge championship with Volt Racing. His WeatherTech record spans a decade and sits at three wins and sixteen podiums from fifty-six starts; in Pilot Challenge, where he has driven most frequently, he has taken seven wins and twenty-four podiums from seventy-five starts. He has also shown strength in sprint racing, taking three wins and seven podiums across ten starts in GT World Challenge America with RS1 in 2023 and 2024. His most recent racing includes Lamborghini Super Trofeo competition in 2025, where he has won three of four starts.[2]

Hindman's standing rests on consistency against professional and semi-professional competition at the national level. He races regularly alongside Robby Foley and Russell Ward, both FIA Gold and Silver professionals respectively with deep experience in IMSA's top tiers; the head-to-head records against them are closely matched. He has also finished ahead of Chase Briscoe, an elite professional and former ARCA champion with 219 NASCAR Cup Series starts, and Kyle Kirkwood, an Indy NXT champion with eighty-one IndyCar races to his name, on multiple occasions. His work with established teams including Wright Motorsports has placed him among the operation's regular drivers since the mid-2010s.
