Trent Hindman is a professional sportscar racer competing in IMSA's national endurance series and international GT championships. Graded FIA Gold, he drives GT3 and GT4-level production-based sports cars, primarily for Wayne Taylor Racing and RS1. His career spans national multiclass endurance racing in the United States and select international competitions from 2016 onwards.[1]

Hindman has won championships in two IMSA series: the 2019 IMSA WeatherTech championship with Wayne Taylor Racing and the 2022 IMSA Pilot Challenge title with RS1. His primary seat is in IMSA Pilot Challenge, where he has competed since 2016 in the GS class, taking 7 wins and 24 podiums from 75 starts. He has logged 59 IMSA WeatherTech starts since 2017, with 3 wins and 16 podiums; in GT World Challenge America since 2023, he has taken 3 wins and 7 podiums in 10 starts. He has also raced IMSA Prototype Challenge, winning once in the LMP3 class, and in early 2025 moved into Lamborghini Super Trofeo, winning three of his four starts in that series.[2]

Hindman races regularly against established professionals. His most frequent rivals are Robby Foley, a Gold-graded professional and 2025 GT World Challenge America Pro-Am champion with extensive IMSA experience, and Russell Ward, a Silver-graded established professional and two-time defending IMSA WeatherTech GTD champion, both of whom he runs closely with across multiple series. His career includes podium finishes ahead of Kyle Kirkwood, an elite professional who won the 2021 Indy NXT championship and has competed in IndyCar, and one finish ahead of Scott McLaughlin, the Platinum-graded two-time Supercars champion. Wayne Taylor Racing, his primary team, is among the strongest operations on the IMSA grid.
