Hugh Plumb is an entry-level professional racing driver competing in American multiclass endurance racing, where he shares a car with teammates across single-driver classes on circuits spanning the country. He holds an FIA Bronze rating, marking him as an amateur-level competitor in a field that includes graded professionals. His primary machinery has been the GT4-class production-based sports car, which he has raced for Team TGM across the IMSA Pilot Challenge and IMSA WeatherTech championships since 2014.[1]

Plumb won the 2018 IMSA Pilot Challenge GS class championship with Team TGM, taking four wins and seven podiums across 83 starts in that series. His career spans 90 starts in three championships from 2014 to 2026, with four wins and seven podiums across all categories. His record includes four starts in the higher-class IMSA WeatherTech championship in GTD and GTDPRO machinery, and three appearances in International GT in 4.0-litre Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars in 2022. He continues to race for Team TGM, which switched to Ford Mustang GT4s for the 2026 Pilot Challenge season with an unchanged driver lineup.[2]

Plumb's regular competitors in the Pilot Challenge are entry-level professionals; he runs closely matched with Gregory Liefooghe and the 2023 Pilot Challenge GS champion Robin Liddell. He has finished ahead of NASCAR professionals across multiple national series, including the elite-level Chase Briscoe in five meetings and Corey Heim, a three-time consecutive NASCAR Truck champion, once.
