Ramin Abdolvahabi was an entry-level professional racing in the IMSA Pilot Challenge, a national multiclass endurance series in which production-based GT4 and modified production cars race together. He raced primarily for Automatic Racing from 2016 to 2024, competing in the GS and ST classes with co-drivers over nine seasons and 42 starts across the Pilot Challenge and the single-driver IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge.[1]
Abdolvahabi spent his career as a mid-pack finisher in the Pilot Challenge's regular field. He raced regularly against entry-level professionals including the 2023 Pilot Challenge GS champion Robin Liddell and the 2017 ST champion Eric Foss, drivers he typically finished behind. His strongest result against elite company came when he finished ahead of Chase Briscoe, the 2016 ARCA Menards Series champion and a NASCAR Cup Series regular, in a single meeting. He also beat the established professional Austin Cindric, a two-time NASCAR Xfinity champion, on one occasion. His last indexed activity came in 2023, when he made two starts in the VP Racing SportsCar Challenge, finishing 22nd in the championship standings.[2]
