🇺🇸 Owen Trinkler

Owen Trinkler is an entry-level professional racing in national multiclass endurance and sprint championships. Graded FIA Bronze, he competes primarily in IMSA Pilot Challenge, where he drives GT4-level and production-based sports cars for Team TGM in shared-driver endurance races. He also races Porsche GT3 Cup cars in International GT, solo-drives GT4 machinery in IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge, and in 2026 has begun racing production Porsche cars for Vintage Racing Company in Porsche Endurance Challenge North America.[1]

Trinkler won the 2018 IMSA Pilot Challenge championship with Team TGM after twelve seasons of racing across five series. In IMSA Pilot Challenge alone he has taken 77 starts and seven wins, establishing himself as a consistent front-runner in that series; in International GT over three seasons he has won twice in nine starts, a notably strong record. His 103 career starts have yielded ten wins and 25 podiums. His record against racing professionals extends to multiple finished results ahead of Chase Briscoe, an elite professional who has raced 226 NASCAR Cup Series rounds, and Austin Cindric, an established professional and 2020 NASCAR Xfinity champion, though those meetings are occasional rather than regular.[2]

His most frequent competition comes against Gregory Liefooghe and Eric Foss, both entry-level professionals racing the same IMSA series, and he finishes closely matched with both. In his current 2026 season with Vintage Racing Company in Porsche Endurance Challenge North America, Trinkler has won one of two rounds completed so far.
