Robin Liddell is a professional endurance racing driver competing at FIA Silver level, graded between amateur and established professional within GT and sportscar competition. He races for Rebel Rock Racing, primarily in the IMSA Pilot Challenge, where he competes in the GS class driving GT4-level production-based sports cars. He has also campaigned GT3 machinery in the IMSA WeatherTech Championship and GT World Challenge America, competing in multiclass grids where amateurs and semi-professionals race alongside graded professionals.[1]
Liddell's racing record spans 16 seasons from 2001 to 2026, with 105 starts across four major series. His career has been built on a decade-long tenure with Rebel Rock Racing in the IMSA Pilot Challenge, where he has taken 11 wins and 17 podiums from 84 starts. In 2023 he won the IMSA Pilot Challenge GS championship as a member of Rebel Rock's title-winning team. Earlier he competed in the IMSA WeatherTech Championship in GTD machinery with Stevenson Motorsports, recording three podiums from 11 starts between 2014 and 2017. He made five starts in the FIA GT Championship's international endurance field between 2001 and 2004, and has recently begun racing in GT World Challenge America, adding four starts in Pro-Am class GT3 competition in 2026. He has one additional podium from PCA Club Racing in 2005.[2]
In the IMSA Pilot Challenge, Liddell operates within a field of entry-level professionals and semi-professionals. He runs closely matched against Gregory Liefooghe, an FIA Silver driver with extensive IMSA experience, and Hugh Plumb, a 2018 IMSA Pilot Challenge GS champion who remains a regular competitor in that series. His strongest recorded scalps are against drivers who have moved into elite categories elsewhere; he has beaten Chase Briscoe, an elite professional and 2016 ARCA champion with extensive NASCAR Cup Series experience, twice in shared endurance competition, and has one finish ahead of Corey Heim, an established professional and three-time NASCAR Truck Series champion.
