Spreng is a Bronze-graded amateur competing in international multiclass endurance racing and a Porsche single-seater championship. He raced for BLACK FALCON Team TMD Friction Porsche, one of the stronger operations in endurance competition, in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie between 2014 and 2015, where he shared a near-standard Porsche 911 GT3 Cup in the V6 class. His most recent racing came in 2024 with GP Elite in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, a solo sprint series, where he started five rounds and finished 15th in the championship standings.[1]
His record spans ten years but clusters around two periods. Between 2014 and 2015 he accumulated twelve starts in the Nürburgring series and took eight podiums, all in shared-car racing. He made a single start in the 24H Series in 2017, a multiclass endurance championship running across thirteen countries, in a shared Porsche 911 GT3 Cup. After a gap of nine years he returned to racing in 2024 with five starts in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup, a solo sprint field that mixes amateurs with graded professionals.[2]
In the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie he regularly raced against Ivan Jacoma and Claudius Karch, both entry-level professionals and multi-time V6 champions, and finished behind them consistently. Against stronger drivers from outside his usual field he has beaten Marvin Klein, a Gold-graded professional with thirty-nine Supercup starts, once, and John Shoffner, a professional, five times. His 2024 return to racing saw him compete in a grid that included both amateurs and established professionals in the same series.
