Jonas Karklys is an entry-level professional racing in multiclass endurance GT competitions, FIA Silver-graded. He races GT3 cars for LIQUI MOLY Team Engstler in the GT Winter Series, where he has competed since 2024, and previously raced in the ADAC GT Masters and the 24H Series, a 13-country multiclass championship mixing amateur and professional crews.[1]
Across four seasons from 2022 to 2026, Karklys has started 23 times and taken three podiums, all in endurance racing where results are shared among co-drivers. His strongest showings came in the 24H Series in 2022 and 2023, where he claimed two podium finishes in four starts. In the 2026 GT Winter Series season, still in progress, he holds 19th in the championship standings with one podium from six rounds raced to date.[2]
Karklys races in fields that include established professionals and former champions. He regularly finishes behind both Alain Valente and Ralf Aron, the latter a 2015 Italian F4 champion who has competed in Formula 3 and GT racing extensively. He has on occasion beaten drivers of considerably higher standing, including Maximilian Götz, the 2021 DTM champion and 2025 British GT Championship GT3 champion, and Sven Müller, a Gold-graded professional with 43 GT World Challenge starts.
