🇩🇪 Maximilian Götz

Maximilian Götz is an established professional and FIA Platinum-graded driver who races primarily in multiclass endurance championships. He competes in the British GT Championship for 2 Seas Motorsport in a GT3 car, and has spent much of his career with Mercedes-AMG teams in parallel programmes across GT World Challenge Europe, the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie and other endurance series. His most recent achievement is the 2025 British GT Championship, won with 2 Seas Motorsport.[1]

Götz's career spans 16 seasons and 141 starts across a mix of single-seater and sportscar racing. He competed in the Formula 3 Euro Series between 2004 and 2008 with limited results, then spent most of a decade away from the indexed record before returning to racing in 2013 through the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, a series in which he scored podiums regularly. His breakthrough at the highest level came in the 2021 DTM season, where he won three races and took nine podiums across 30 starts in a Mercedes-AMG single-seater, claiming the championship. He has since balanced DTM appearances with a sustained programme in endurance racing; his GT World Challenge Europe record spans eight seasons and includes a win and five podiums from 25 starts. The British GT Championship title in 2025 represents his second major championship and confirms his standing at professional level in shared-car endurance racing.[2]

Götz races alongside and against drivers of established professional calibre. In GT World Challenge Europe and multiclass endurance grids he is a regular competitor against Maro Engel and Lucas Auer, both FIA Platinum professionals and 2024 GT World Challenge Europe champions, with head-to-head records that show them closely matched. Earlier in his career, in Formula 3 Euro Series competition, he finished ahead of Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg, both of whom went on to establish themselves at elite and generational levels respectively, though those meetings occurred when those drivers were early in their single-seater progression.
