🇨🇭 Patric Niederhauser

Patric Niederhauser is an established professional competing in GT and endurance racing, graded FIA Platinum. Based in Switzerland, he is a Lamborghini factory driver who races primarily for Rutronik Racing in GT World Challenge Europe, where he competes in a single-class field mixing amateurs with full-time professionals across an international calendar.[1]

Over eleven seasons from 2012 onwards, Niederhauser has built a career across multiple disciplines. His early years included open-wheel racing in GP3 Series and GP2 Series, where he took four wins and eight podiums across 42 starts. Since 2020 he has concentrated on GT and endurance racing, competing regularly in GT World Challenge Europe with three wins and seventeen podiums from 69 starts. He has also raced Porsche and Lamborghini machinery in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie and the 24H Series, a multiclass endurance championship in which he has taken a single podium; his one outing in the FIA World Endurance Championship came in 2013.[2]

In GT World Challenge Europe, Niederhauser races alongside established professionals graded Platinum, including the 2021 ADAC GT Masters champion Ricardo Feller and multiple-series regular Dennis Marschall, and maintains a closely matched head-to-head record against both. His record includes a finish ahead of Max Verstappen in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, a series Verstappen has raced occasionally alongside his Formula 1 commitments. Niederhauser has also finished ahead of elite-level competitor Mitch Evans on multiple occasions in their overlapping racing careers.
