Alexander Smolyar is an established professional racing driver competing in single-seater and endurance machinery at the international level. He races for SMP Racing in the 24H Series, a multiclass endurance championship where GT3 cars are shared among drivers across long-distance events. His indexed record spans six seasons from 2018 to 2025, with 90 starts across Formula Renault Eurocup, Formula 3 and the 24H Series.[1]

Smolyar finished third in the 2019 Formula Renault Eurocup championship with three wins and ten podiums from 34 starts for R-ace GP. He then spent three seasons in Formula 3 from 2020 to 2022, primarily with MP Motorsport, taking three wins and eight podiums across 54 starts in the R1, R2 and R3 classes. His record in these single-seater series places him among drivers who race regularly at the established professional level but do not consistently challenge for championships; his peak came in his final season in the junior categories, where his championship finish in 2019 established him as a capable competitor in that field.[2]
