Logan Sargeant is a professional endurance racing driver competing in the FIA World Endurance Championship's LMGT3 class for Proton Competition, where he holds an FIA Platinum grade. He competes in a multiclass field sharing cars with co-drivers across endurance rounds. His career spans 14 seasons across single-seater and sportscar racing, accumulating 188 starts with 12 wins and 37 podiums.[1]
Sargeant began in junior single-seaters in 2017, winning twice in his first British F4 season before progressing through Formula Renault Eurocup and Formula 3, where he took three wins across 54 starts for Charouz Racing System between 2019 and 2021. He contested Formula 2 for Carlin in 2021 and 2022, recording two wins and four podiums in 31 starts. His single-seater career peaked with a two-year tenure in Formula 1 with Williams from 2023 to 2024, where he completed 36 starts. He moved to endurance racing in 2025, joining Era Motorsport in the IMSA WeatherTech Championship before stepping up to the WEC's LMP2 class in 2021 and currently competing in the LMGT3 class.[2]
His single-seater record places him among drivers who have reached the professional ranks but occupied mid-grid positions in their categories. In Formula 3, he finished ahead of established professionals including Olli Caldwell throughout their overlapping seasons. His Formula 1 tenure saw him race regularly against championship-winning drivers; he beat Lando Norris twice and George Russell twice in head-to-head meetings, though both are generational talents who typically finished ahead. His current endurance racing sits within fields mixing semi-professional and professional competitors at the highest levels of the discipline.
