🇯🇵 Daniil Kvyat

Daniil Kvyat is an established professional racing driver and FIA Platinum graded competitor in endurance racing. He spent seven seasons in Formula 1 from 2014 to 2020, taking 112 starts for Toro Rosso and AlphaTauri, and has since moved to multiclass sportscar racing in the World Endurance Championship and IMSA. He currently races a Lamborghini in Super GT for JLOC.[1]

Kvyat's career began in single-seater racing across the 2010s. He won the GP3 Series championship in 2013 with Arden International, taking three wins from fourteen starts, and that same year took a win and seven podiums across nineteen starts in FIA Formula 3 European. His Formula Renault Eurocup record from 2010 to 2012 comprised nine wins and fifteen podiums across twenty-seven starts. In Formula 1 he scored three podiums across his 112 starts, racing primarily for Toro Rosso; he was a regular opponent against Carlos Sainz and Kimi Räikkönen, both elite professionals, and finished ahead of generational talents Lando Norris and George Russell in their overlapping seasons. Since 2022 he has contested NASCAR's road courses, taken fourteen starts in WEC with a podium finish, and begun racing in IMSA and Super GT in 2025 and 2026; he finished twenty-fifth in WEC championship standings across the 2024 season.[2]

The World Endurance Championship fields a mix of professional and semi-professional drivers across multiple manufacturers, and Kvyat has scored a podium within that field. His recent transition to Super GT saw him finish sixth on his series debut with JLOC.
