🇫🇮 Valtteri Bottas

Valtteri Bottas is an established professional racing driver competing in Formula 1 for Cadillac. A Platinum-graded endurance racing professional, Bottas has contested 260 starts in the series across 13 seasons from 2013 onwards, taking 10 wins and 67 podium finishes. He drives for Cadillac F1 Team in the current campaign.[1]

Bottas reached Formula 1 after winning the 2011 GP3 Series championship with Lotus ART, adding four wins in that title season to earlier championships in the 2008 Formula Renault Eurocup and 2006 Formula 3 Euro Series. His single-seater record spans 69 starts in open-wheel competition before his debut in the top flight, yielding 11 wins and 31 podiums in those junior categories. Across his Formula 1 career, he has twice finished runner-up in the World Drivers' Championship, in 2019 and 2020 while driving for Mercedes.[2]

In Formula 1, Bottas regularly faces the strongest drivers in motorsport. He has been closely matched with Sergio Pérez, an elite professional in the series, while finishing behind Lewis Hamilton, a generational talent and nine-time world champion, in most of their head-to-head races. He has finished ahead of George Russell and Lando Norris, both generational drivers, across their Formula 1 meetings; his record against Russell spans 47 occasions, against Norris 50. His primary team tenure came with Mercedes, where he accumulated 101 of his Formula 1 starts in a squad that has won 141 races during the indexed period.
