Roldán Rodríguez is a retired Spanish driver who competed in single-seater racing at the semi-professional to professional level, primarily in the GP2 Series from 2007 to 2009. He holds an FIA Silver grading, which places him below the full-professional Gold and Platinum grades. His main tenure came with Minardi Piquet Sports, a small operation that fielded him for 16 of his 43 career starts across two indexed championships.[1]

His record spans four seasons from 2006 to 2009, beginning with two starts in Formula 3 Macau before moving to the GP2 Series, where he accumulated 41 starts over three years. He took four podiums across his career, with two of them coming in his final season in 2009 when he finished 11th in the GP2 championship standings. The majority of his racing took place against a mixed field of amateurs, semi-professionals and graded professionals competing in the same races.[2]

In the regular company of established competitors, Rodríguez finished ahead of Sergio Pérez, a Platinum-graded professional and Formula 1 driver, on four occasions. He was closely matched with Javier Villa, another Silver-graded professional, across multiple meetings, and regularly raced against Lucas di Grassi, a Platinum-graded Formula E champion, though typically finishing behind him in those encounters.
