Roldán Rodríguez is a retired Spanish professional racing driver who competed in single-seater championships during the mid-2000s. He raced primarily in the GP2 Series from 2007 to 2009 for Piquet GP, with an earlier appearance in Formula 3 Macau in 2006. His career took place in mixed-level grids that included both amateur and graded professionals; he held FIA Silver status, a grade positioned below the full professional (Gold and Platinum) tiers in sportscar and endurance racing.[1]

Across 43 career starts, Rodríguez took four podiums. His most substantial period came in the GP2 Series, where he made 41 starts and finished 11th in the championship standings in 2009, his final year of racing. He also made two starts in the Formula 3 Macau single-round event in 2006 with Hitech Racing before joining Piquet GP for his GP2 campaign.[2]

In the professional fields where Rodríguez raced most regularly, he was closely matched with Javier Villa, another Silver-graded driver with extensive GP2 experience, but typically finished behind Lucas di Grassi, a Platinum-graded established professional and future Formula E champion. Among the strongest drivers he encountered, Rodríguez beat Sergio Pérez on four occasions in GP2 competition; Pérez later became an elite professional with 299 Formula 1 starts and would go on to win races at the highest level. He finished ahead of Sebastian Vettel once, though Vettel would become a four-time Formula 1 world champion and elite professional.
