Tom Ingram is an established professional competing in the British Touring Car Championship, a national single-class sprint series that fields graded professionals alongside semi-professional and amateur entrants. Ingram holds an FIA Gold grading for endurance racing and drives for Team Vertu. He has raced primarily in the BTCC since 2015, with a single shared-car entry in the British GT Championship's GT4 class in 2023.[1]

Ingram has won the BTCC twice, in 2022 and 2025, and has taken 40 wins and 114 podiums from 331 starts in the series over his eleven completed seasons. He finished ahead of Ash Sutton, a three-time BTCC champion and established professional, in 131 meetings across their time racing together. His record against other regular BTCC competitors is typically favourable; he usually finishes ahead of professional-grade drivers such as Adam Morgan and Aiden Moffat, both of whom have been his regular opponents over the years. In 2026, his reigning champion season, he has taken two podiums from the four rounds raced so far.[2]
