🇬🇧 Tom Ingram

Tom Ingram is an established professional racing driver competing in the British Touring Car Championship, a single-class national championship in which drivers race solo. He drives for Team Vertu and holds an FIA Gold grading, the full-professional certification for GT and endurance racing. His most recent championship win came in 2025, and he enters the 2026 season as the reigning BTCC champion.[1]

Ingram has contested 347 BTCC starts across twelve seasons from 2015 to the present, taking 42 wins and 122 podiums. He won his first touring car race in 2016 and claimed BTCC titles in 2022 and 2025. A single outing in British GT Championship endurance racing in 2023, racing a GT4 car in the multiclass field, did not yield a podium. The 2026 BTCC season is still in progress; Ingram currently sits second in the championship standings with two wins and ten podiums from twenty rounds raced so far.[2]

In a championship field that encompasses amateurs through graded professionals, Ingram typically finishes ahead of regular opponents Adam Morgan, a Silver-graded professional, and Aiden Moffat, a full-time touring car competitor. He has beaten Ash Sutton, a three-time BTCC champion and established professional, on 137 occasions across their careers; he has also finished ahead of Alain Menu, an established professional who contested both the World Touring Car Championship and international Formula 3000 racing. Recent rounds at Croft saw him contend for victories, though a penalty cost him a race win in September.
