🇬🇧 Olli Caldwell

Olli Caldwell is an established professional racing driver, FIA Gold graded, competing in endurance racing for Algarve Pro Racing. He races LMP2 prototypes in the European Le Mans Series and Asian Le Mans Series, sharing his car with co-drivers in multiclass and single-class championships that field professionals and amateurs in the same races. His career began in 2017 across junior single-seater formulae before moving into prototype racing from 2021 onwards.[1]

Caldwell spent his first four seasons in single-seater racing, taking nine wins and 30 podiums across Italian F4, ADAC Formula 4, British F4 and Formula 3 between 2017 and 2022. He progressed through Formula 3 with a single win in 38 starts for Prema Racing, then briefly contested Formula 2 without a podium finish. His racing since 2021 has centred on endurance prototypes; in the European Le Mans Series he has taken two wins and seven podiums from 16 starts, and in the Asian Le Mans Series he has won once in six outings. He holds nine race wins and 30 podiums across 176 career starts.[2]

In the professional endurance grid Caldwell habitually finishes behind established drivers of his own standing. He regularly races against Enzo Fittipaldi, an Italian F4 champion and established professional who typically outpaces him, and Frederik Vesti, a 2023 Formula 2 champion graded Platinum, whom he also trails in head-to-head competition. He has outfinished Oscar Piastri, now a Formula 1 driver and generational talent, once across their careers, and beaten Liam Lawson, an elite professional, in 13 meetings. The strength of his endurance record comes against fields mixing amateur and professional entrants rather than against the strongest available opposition.
