Murod Sultanov is an entry-level professional racing in multiclass endurance championships with shared cars. He raced GT3 machinery in the Le Mans Cup, Road to Le Mans and 24H Series between 2018 and 2020, primarily for Kessel Racing, a team that fielded established professionals including James Calado across a large driver roster.[1]
Sultanov's record across seven indexed starts yielded three podiums, all from four Le Mans Cup entries in 2018 and 2019. His other appearances came in a single 24H Series round in 2019 and two Road to Le Mans races in 2020. He held a FIA Bronze grade, the amateur classification within GT and endurance racing. His most regular opposition came from drivers at the same entry-level professional standing; he usually finished ahead of Claudio Schiavoni, himself a multi-series endurance racer with 65 indexed starts, but typically ran behind Rino Mastronardi, who won the 2020 Le Mans Cup GT3 championship and the following year's European Le Mans Series LMGTE title. Among the stronger drivers he encountered, Sultanov beat Rodrigo Sales and Maurizio Mediani once each; Sales brought 51 indexed endurance starts to the field and Mediani had raced the World Endurance Championship.[2]
