Oliver Hancock is an entry-level professional competing in multiclass endurance racing, racing shared GTE and GT3 cars in sportscar championships. Between 2018 and 2021 he raced for Kessel Racing in the Le Mans Cup and Road to Le Mans, then moved to TF Sport for the European Le Mans Series and a single World Endurance Championship outing. He retired after the 2021 season.[1]
Hancock started his indexed career in 2018 with 13 starts in the Le Mans Cup's GT3 class across three seasons, taking a podium finish in Road to Le Mans in the same period. He moved to the European Le Mans Series in 2021 with six starts in the LMGTE class before contesting the WEC's LMGTE Am category once that year, finishing 18th in the championship standings. His career totalled 26 starts and one podium across four seasons.[2]
Hancock regularly raced against Claudio Schiavoni, an entry-level professional with extensive experience across the WEC, European Le Mans Series and Le Mans Cup, and against Giacomo Piccini, a professional and two-time Le Mans Cup GT3 champion, typically finishing behind both. He finished ahead of established professionals including Francois Perrodo, a two-time WEC LMGTE Am champion, and Tom Gamble, a gold-graded driver with significant experience in GT World Challenge Europe and the WEC.
