🇮🇹 Paolo Ruberti

Paolo Ruberti is a professional endurance racing driver, Gold-graded by the FIA, competing in multiclass and single-class championships across shared-car and solo racing. He has raced for Iron Lynx since 2020, primarily in the Michelin Le Mans Cup, where he drives a GT3 Porsche, and currently competes in the 24H Series with Pellin Racing.[1]

His career spans 18 seasons and 121 starts across open-wheel and sportscar racing. He began in International Formula 3000 in 1998 and spent six seasons in the FIA GT Championship with BMS Scuderia Italia from 2004 to 2009, accumulating 46 starts in that series. He joined the World Endurance Championship in 2012 and won the WEC title that year with Team Felbermayr-Proton. His strongest period came with Iron Lynx, where he has taken three WEC podiums and won the 2021 Le Mans Cup championship with six podium finishes from six starts. Across all series his record stands at six wins and 19 podiums.[2]

Among his peers in endurance racing he typically finishes behind more established competitors such as Andrea Bertolini, a three-time FIA GT champion, and Emmanuel Collard, the 2016 WEC LMGTE Am champion. He has twice finished ahead of Matt Campbell, a Platinum-graded professional and two-time WEC LMGTE Am champion, and once ahead of Nigel Mansell, the 1992 Formula 1 world champion. His 2021 WEC season, his most recent indexed activity, placed him 16th in the championship standings.
