🇧🇷 Marcos Gomes

Marcos Gomes is a professional racing driver competing primarily in the Stock Car Pro Series, a Brazilian single-class championship contested over solo sprint races in a mixed amateur and professional field. He spent eleven seasons on record from 2014 to 2024, primarily with KTF Sports in Stock Car, and raced in international endurance championships with Scuderia Corsa in IMSA WeatherTech and Aston Martin Racing in WEC. He holds an FIA Silver grade, ranking him below full-professional status in GT and endurance racing.[1]

Gomes won the Stock Car Pro Series championship in 2015 with Voxx Racing Team, taking six wins and 23 podiums across 195 Stock Car starts. His international endurance career was brief; he made four IMSA WeatherTech starts in GTD machinery and seven WEC appearances in LMGTE Am, finishing sixth in the 2021 WEC season with one podium. Stock Car remained his primary platform throughout his career, where he competed regularly against established professionals including four-time Stock Car champion Rubens Barrichello and fellow Silver-graded driver Júlio Campos, with whom he was closely matched. In his limited international outings he occasionally raced against much stronger opposition; he finished ahead of Kyle Kirkwood, an elite professional who won Indy NXT in 2021, and shared a podium finish with António Félix da Costa, a 2019 Formula E champion and two-time WEC LMP2 champion.[2]
