Jeff Westphal is a professional sportscar racer competing in IMSA's national endurance and sprint series for CarBahn with Peregrine Racing. Graded FIA Gold, he races GT3 and GT4 machinery in multiclass fields, primarily in the Pilot Challenge and WeatherTech championships where cars are shared between multiple drivers. His record spans 12 seasons since 2014, with 115 starts across five series and eight wins.[1]
Westphal won the 2019 IMSA Pilot Challenge championship driving for CarBahn with Peregrine, and has taken six wins and 18 podiums in that series across his 65 starts there. He holds a single WeatherTech win from 40 starts in IMSA's premier endurance series. His only other series victories came in 2015 and 2016 racing for Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, where he won and took a second podium across three starts. Recent activity includes four starts in the solo-driver VP Racing SportsCar Challenge in 2026, yielding a podium finish.[2]
Westphal races regularly against graded professionals. He is closely matched with Robby Foley, a Gold-graded professional and 2025 GT World Challenge America Pro-Am champion, and with Spencer Pumpelly, a Silver-graded professional and former IMSA Pilot Challenge champion. He has finished ahead of drivers of far stronger pedigree in single-seaters and stock cars: Kyle Kirkwood, an Indy NXT champion with 81 IndyCar starts, twice; and Chase Briscoe, a NASCAR Cup and ARCA champion, five times across their shared IMSA entries.
