🇺🇸 Bill Auberlen

Bill Auberlen is an entry-level professional racing in national multiclass endurance championships. He holds an FIA Silver rating, placing him among drivers developing toward the full professional grades. Auberlen has spent the bulk of his career with Turner Motorsport in IMSA WeatherTech, where he has raced GT3 and GTE machinery across 103 starts from 2014 to 2023, and currently competes for Random Vandals Racing in GT World Challenge America Pro and IMSA Pilot Challenge, driving GT3 and GT4-level cars respectively.[1]

Across 177 starts over 14 seasons, Auberlen has taken 16 wins and 49 podiums. His longest tenure came in IMSA WeatherTech, where he scored 10 wins and 22 podiums; he added 5 wins and 10 podiums in IMSA Pilot Challenge from 2019 onwards, and has taken 1 win among 17 podiums in GT World Challenge America since 2023. Random Vandals Racing won the 2025 GT World Challenge America Pro title with him on the roster. His sole international start came in the 2013 WEC at LMGTE Pro level with Aston Martin Racing.[2]

Auberlen has contested IMSA WeatherTech regularly against established professionals including Bryan Sellers, a two-time GTD champion who has finished closely matched with him across their meetings, and Trent Hindman, a Gold-graded professional and champion of both the 2019 IMSA WeatherTech GTD and 2022 IMSA Pilot Challenge GS who has also run to a closely matched record with him. He has finished ahead of elite-level drivers including Kyle Kirkwood, who went on to win the 2021 Indy NXT championship and race IndyCar, beating him three times across their encounters.
