Chris Horn is an entry-level professional stock car racer who competed in NASCAR Xfinity, a national single-class oval racing series that fields a mix of amateur, semi-professional and professional competitors. His eight NASCAR Xfinity starts came between 2005 and 2009 driving for Horn Auto Racing.[1]
Horn finished 39th in NASCAR Xfinity championship standings across his time in the series. He raced against established professionals including 2007 Xfinity champion Carl Edwards and Jason Leffler, a driver with over 290 Xfinity starts and additional experience in the NASCAR Truck Series and IndyCar. Horn typically finished behind both of them. On two occasions he outfinished drivers of considerably higher standing: he beat Aric Almirola and Brad Keselowski, the latter a 2010 Xfinity champion who would go on to race extensively in NASCAR Cup Series, once each across his eight starts.[2]
