Marc Rostan is a retired French racing driver who held the FIA Bronze classification, a grading for amateur and gentleman drivers competing in GT and endurance racing. His Racer Rating of 3,993 places him in the semi-professional band; he raced among full professionals but as an outsider to their level. Across five career starts spanning 2012 to 2019, he recorded no wins or podium finishes, with an average classified finish of 36th place.[1]
Rostan's most substantial racing came in the 2019 GT World Challenge Europe season, where he started four times for Boutsen Ginion Racing. In that series he shared the grid with elite-level professionals including FIA Platinum-graded drivers such as Maro Engel, Jake Dennis, Mikhail Aleshin and Miguel Molina. Against this field he finished behind Engel in all four encounters; he was lapped multiple times by the 2024 GT World Challenge Europe champion. He did finish ahead of Dennis, Raffaele Marciello and Aleshin once each, though these remain isolated results against a field in which he was consistently outpaced. His sole other race was a single World Endurance Championship start for Gulf Racing Middle East in 2012, which ended in 60th place.[2]
