Andy Lally is a professional driver, FIA Gold-graded, competing primarily in multiclass endurance racing. He races for Magnus Racing in IMSA WeatherTech, where he pilots a GT3 car in the GTD class across a field mixing amateur and professional entrants. Over 18 years of racing on record, from 2007 to 2025, he has compiled 139 starts across national championships in both endurance and single-seater formats; his most recent indexed racing came in 2018.[1]

In IMSA WeatherTech, his primary series, Lally has taken three wins and 15 podiums from 99 starts since 2014. He has also contested IMSA Pilot Challenge endurance racing, where he earned one podium from six starts in shared-car competition across its multiclass GT4 and touring-car fields. His NASCAR experience spans Cup and Xfinity series; he contested the road-course rounds of Cup in 2021 and 2023, and ran 23 Xfinity starts over 15 years, primarily on road and street courses rather than ovals.[2]

In IMSA WeatherTech he regularly races against Bryan Sellers, the two-time GTD champion and established professional, usually finishing behind him, and against Mario Farnbacher, a Gold-graded entry-level professional and two-time GTD champion with whom he is closely matched. On the rare occasions his path crossed NASCAR's top tier, Lally finished ahead of Denny Hamlin three times and Ryan Blaney once; both are elite professionals and multiple-time Cup competitors, though these meetings were few enough to count as individual results rather than a pattern.
