🇸🇪 Hampus Ericsson

Hampus Ericsson is a professional driver, rated 4,004, and graded Silver by the FIA, the grade below the sport's two full-professional rungs. He began in single-seaters before moving into GT and endurance sportscar racing, and currently drives for Wayne Taylor Racing in Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America and for Random Vandals Racing in GT World Challenge America, where he races a GT3 car in the Pro-Am class, and in the Zenith Racing Series.[1]

His career started in British F4 with Fortec Motorsports across two seasons, and continued into GB3 with Double R Racing, where he took a win among his podiums. The bulk of his recent record is with Wayne Taylor Racing in Lamborghini Super Trofeo North America, where he won the 2025 championship and has taken eight wins and thirteen podiums from twenty starts, backed by two further wins at the Super Trofeo World Final. He has also raced in the 24H Series for Leipert Motorsport across its 992 and GT3 classes, in Lamborghini Super Trofeo Europe for Target Racing, and in Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup for Fragus Motorsport. His 2026 season with Random Vandals Racing is still in progress: he sits 19th in the Zenith Racing Series standings with a podium from the two rounds run so far, alongside a six-race GT World Challenge America campaign.[2]

Among the drivers he has raced most often, he is usually behind Ayrton Simmons, an entry-level professional also graded Silver with British F4 and GB3 experience, and closely matched with Johnathan Hoggard, a professional who won the 2019 GB3 title. His standout results include finishing ahead of Oscar Piastri, the 2021 Formula 2 champion and now a Formula 1 driver, on three occasions, and ahead of Larry ten Voorde, a three-time Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup champion, once. His main team, Fortec Motorsports, has also fielded Charles Leclerc among its drivers.
