🇲🇽 Manuel Sulaiman

Manuel Sulaiman is a professional racing driver, FIA Silver graded, who competed in single-seater championships in North America and the United Kingdom. He raced for JHR Developments in British F4 and later drove for Juncos Hollinger Racing and HMD Motorsports with Force Indy in the American ladder series Indy Pro 2000 Championship and Indy NXT.[1]

Sulaiman's indexed record spans five seasons from 2017 to 2022, with 80 starts across three championships. In British F4, he took a single podium finish from 42 starts with JHR Developments. He found greater success in Indy Pro 2000 Championship, where he won three races and took seven podiums across 30 starts for Juncos Hollinger Racing, finishing seventh in the championship standings in his final full season in 2021. He made eight starts in Indy NXT with HMD Motorsports with Force Indy before retiring from racing.[2]

The fields he raced in mixed amateur and semi-professional entrants with graded professionals. Against his most frequent opponents, Sulaiman typically finished behind entry-level professionals such as Ayrton Simmons and Patrik Pasma, both of whom had progressed to higher single-seater categories. His most notable result was a win against Oscar Piastri, a generational talent and 2021 Formula 2 champion who went on to race in Formula 1, in one of their two meetings across their careers.
