Max van der Snel is an entry-level professional competing in multiclass endurance racing across European and North American championships. FIA Silver-graded, he races LMP3 prototypes in the European Le Mans Series for Eurointernational and Le Mans Cup for More Motorsport, which he co-owns, and has also driven LMP2 machinery in IMSA WeatherTech and the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie. His racing began in 2023 with a season in single-driver prototype competition.[1]
Van der Snel has taken two wins across his career: one in Prototype Cup Germany in 2023 with Reiter Engineering and one at the Radical World Finals in 2025. His four podiums span prototype and sports-car racing, with finishes in European Le Mans Series, Le Mans Cup, Radical World Finals and the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie. He is currently active in 2026, competing across several endurance grids.[2]
His regular competition places him against professional Silver-graded drivers including Oscar Tunjo, a 2026 IMSA champion, and Valentino Catalano, the 2024 Prototype Cup Germany champion and 2025 IMSA champion, against whom he typically finishes behind. He has occasionally beaten established professionals; he finished ahead of Dane Cameron, a three-time IMSA WeatherTech champion and 2025 European Le Mans Series LMP2 Pro/Am champion, once in endurance competition, and Jonny Edgar, the 2024 European Le Mans Series LMP2 champion, once.
