Christian Iván Ramos is a semi-professional racing driver who competed in Argentine single-class stock car championships between 2014 and 2023. He raced primarily for Torino, one of the sport's established operations; his final indexed season was 2023 Turismo Carretera, where he started five rounds and finished 32nd in the championship standings.[1]
Ramos won two national titles across his career. He took the TC Pista Mouras championship in 2014 with Chevrolet, finishing that 13-start season with four wins and seven podiums. His other title came in TC Mouras in 2020, though that victory came from a smaller platform; across his six seasons in TC Mouras with Torino, he took one win and four podiums from 15 starts. He was less successful in a 2021 TC Pista campaign with Dodge, where he managed one podium finish from 14 starts. In Turismo Carretera, the national premier series, he made 19 starts across 2022 and 2023 without winning.[2]
The fields he raced in mixed semi-professional and competitive amateur regulars with occasional graded professionals. Ramos finished ahead of Agustín Canapino, a three-time Turismo Carretera champion and Gold-graded professional, twice over his career, and outfinished Matías Rossi, a two-time Turismo Carretera champion and Platinum-graded professional, seven times. At the national-level stock car tier, he was closely matched with Kevin Candela, a semi-professional regular, and Augusto Carinelli, a competitive amateur who competed regularly in the same championships.
