Matías Rossi is a Platinum-graded professional competing full-time in Turismo Carretera, Argentina's top single-seater touring-car championship, where he drives the No. 117 Toyota Camry for Toyota Gazoo Racing. He has raced there since 2010 and holds two Turismo Carretera titles, winning the championship in 2012 and 2014 with Chevrolet. Rossi has also competed in the Brazilian Stock Car Pro Series and made a brief appearance in the TCR World Tour in 2024.[1]
Across 17 seasons and 270 starts, Rossi has taken 26 wins and 64 podiums. His primary record is in Turismo Carretera, where he has accumulated 22 wins and 53 podiums in 198 starts. In Stock Car Pro Series, a multiclass field running from amateurs to graded professionals, he took four wins and 11 podiums in 68 starts between 2020 and 2023. The Stock Car field included established professionals and former champions; he finished ahead of Gabriel Casagrande, the 2021 Stock Car champion, on multiple occasions, and beat Felipe Fraga, a Gold-graded professional and 2025 Stock Car champion, in their shared races. His rating of 4,042 places him as a professional competitor. In 2026 Rossi leads the Turismo Carretera season so far with four rounds completed, with further races still to come.[2]
In Turismo Carretera, Rossi races in a field that has regularly included Mariano Werner and Jonatan Castellano, both entry-level professionals; Werner is a four-time Turismo Carretera champion and a former champion in TC Pick Up. Rossi has been closely matched against both drivers across his career.
