John Antonino is a semi-professional racing formula cars in the Lucas Oil Formula Car Race Series, where he has been a regular competitor since 2024. He races a Championship class car in this national solo single-seater series and has also made starts in SKUSA SuperNationals and SCCA Majors, competing in junior kart and spec racer categories across those multiclass fields.[1]

Antonino has taken seven wins and nine podiums from 12 starts in the Lucas Oil series, where he regularly finishes ahead of his most frequent opponents, including semi-professional Indy Andersen and competitive amateur Jackson Morley. His record in SKUSA SuperNationals and SCCA Majors has been limited; he has made four starts in the SuperNationals across two seasons and three starts in SCCA Majors, competing in amateur and semi-professional fields that draw graded professionals. His most notable results outside the Lucas Oil series have come against entry-level professionals Patricio Gonzalez, who has progressed through USF Juniors and GB3, and Ty Fisher, who has raced USF Juniors and Spanish F4; Antonino finished ahead of each once.[2]
