Robert Schröder is a semi-professional endurance racing driver who competed in multiclass racing at the Nürburgring between 2015 and 2019. He raced primarily for LUBNER Motorsport in the Cup 1 class of the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, driving an Opel, and later competed in the Nürburgring 24 Hours for Teichmann Racing in a KTM X-Bow.[1]
Across nine starts over four years, Schröder recorded two wins and three podiums. He took a win and podium finish in the 2015 Langstrecken-Serie season alongside two other podium finishes from eight starts in that series. His other win came in the 2019 Nürburgring 24 Hours, one of the most competitive endurance events run at the circuit.[2]
In the regular Langstrecken-Serie field, Schröder typically finished ahead of entry-level professionals Moritz Oestreich and Jasmin Preisig, both graded FIA Silver drivers with considerable experience at the Nürburgring. He also beat Mehmet Kaya Mustafa, who won the 2019 Langstrecken-Serie SP 8T championship, once across their meetings.
