Patricio Gonzalez is an entry-level professional racing solo single-seaters in national championships across the United States and Britain. He races USF Juniors, USF2000 and GB3 for VRD Racing, an established small team that has fielded a professional driver at its strongest. His rating of 3,798 places him among drivers finding their footing at professional level, beating established professionals in isolated races but typically racing mid-pack against his regular opponents.[1]

Gonzalez has spent four seasons in indexed racing since 2023, with 57 starts across four series. His main platform has been USF Juniors, where he has taken all three of his podium finishes across 32 starts. In 2025 he moved into GB3, Britain's national single-seater championship, taking 18 starts for VRD Racing and recording his maiden win at the Red Bull Ring season finale in July 2026. That same year he contested USF2000, a second American series, over six rounds. His most recent activity is the 2025 USF2000 season, where he finished 21st in the championship standings across the complete calendar.[2]

He has beaten the professional Jin Nakamura, who holds 19 Formula 3 starts and 17 in Super Formula Lights, twice in head-to-head racing, and once finished ahead of Alex Ninovic, the 2025 GB3 champion. His win at Red Bull Ring came in a season marked by attrition ahead of him; other podium finishes are from USF Juniors, where most of his racing has occurred.
