🇬🇧 Guy Cosmo

Guy Cosmo is an entry-level professional competing in multiclass endurance racing; an FIA Gold-graded driver whose indexed record spans national IMSA championships and single-seater competition in the United States from 2002 to 2023. He raced primarily for Team TGM in IMSA's multiclass Pilot Challenge and WeatherTech championships, driving production-based GT4 and prototype machinery shared with co-drivers across North American circuits.[1]

Cosmo's record centres on endurance racing at IMSA level. He completed 28 starts in the Pilot Challenge GS class between 2016 and 2019, taking one podium finish; he made 12 starts in WeatherTech's GTD and LMP2 classes from 2014 to 2022, earning two podiums. His most successful indexed season came in single-seater racing; he won four races and took six podiums across ten Star Mazda Championship starts from 2002 to 2004, a national amateur and semi-professional field. In 2022 and 2023 he raced International GT's GT4.R class in a pair of multiclass events, finishing on the podium in both. He took two Trans-Am TA2 starts in 2022, placing 14th in the season championship.[2]

In IMSA endurance racing, Cosmo ran regularly against established professionals. He split results with Paul Holton, an entry-level professional with 61 Pilot Challenge starts and 19 WeatherTech entries, matching him closely across their meetings. Against Trent Hindman, a professional Gold-graded driver and 2019 WeatherTech GTD champion with more than 70 IMSA starts to his name, Cosmo typically finished behind. In his occasional starts against elite-level drivers, he finished ahead of Kyle Kirkwood, a three-time junior open-wheel champion competing in IMSA as a full-time professional, once; he also finished ahead of Chase Briscoe, an elite professional with more than 340 NASCAR starts, in four meetings.
