🇬🇧 James Higgins

James Higgins is a British professional driver and FIA Silver graded competitor who raced single-seaters in British F4 for three seasons between 2022 and 2024. He spent the majority of his indexed career with Rodin Motorsport, competing alongside amateurs, semi-professionals and graded professionals in the same field. He is now retired from racing.[1]

Across 61 starts in British F4, Higgins took four wins and thirteen podiums. His best season came in 2024, when he finished third in the championship standings with two wins and seven podiums from the full calendar. His early results in the series came in 2022 and 2023 before that stronger campaign in his final year.[2]

Higgins raced most regularly against Deagen Fairclough, who won the 2024 British F4 championship; Higgins typically finished behind him across their meetings. He was closely matched with Jack Sherwood, an entry-level professional with extensive experience across British single-seaters. He finished ahead of Freddie Slater, an established professional and champion of both the 2024 Italian F4 and 2025 Formula Regional European, on two occasions, and beat Griffin Peebles, an established professional and FIA Silver graded competitor, three times across their races together. Higgins has since moved into GT racing, competing for CSA Racing in GT World Challenge Europe.
