🇵🇱 Jakub Giermaziak

Jakub Giermaziak is a professional endurance racing driver, FIA Gold-graded, who raced primarily in national German multiclass championships. He competed most often in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie between 2010 and 2024, sharing Porsche 911 GT3 Cup cars and BMW one-make machinery in that series and GT3 cars in the Nürburgring 24 Hours, while also making a single World Endurance Championship start in 2015. His final races came for Walkenhorst Motorsport, the team he drove for across ten of his 27 career starts.[1]

Giermaziak won five races in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie and took seven podiums across his career. He was part of Walkenhorst Motorsport's 2023 Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie SP 9 Pro championship team and Scherer Sport Team Phoenix's title-winning outfit in 2022. His record in national-level endurance racing placed him consistently in contention; he was closely matched against regular opponents Frank Stippler, the 2021 Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie champion and a Platinum-graded professional, and Vincent Kolb, a Silver-graded driver with experience across multiple endurance series.[2]

In a field mixing amateurs and semi-professionals with FIA Platinum-graded champions and established professionals, Giermaziak finished ahead of established names including Maro Engel, a recent GT World Challenge Europe champion with extensive DTM and sports car racing behind him, and Laurens Vanthoor, a multiple IMSA champion and 2024 WEC Hypercar title-holder, on separate occasions across his shared-car racing in the Nürburgring endurance series.
