Harrison Burton is an American stock car racing driver and the son of former NASCAR driver Jeff Burton. He came up through the NASCAR ranks and made history in 2020 by becoming the first driver born in the 2000s or later to win a NASCAR O'Reilly Auto Parts Series race, an early marker of his generational significance in the sport. He has since built a career primarily associated with the NASCAR Xfinity Series, where he remains an active competitor.[1]
Across 273 career starts in the series, Burton has accumulated 5 wins, 23 podiums, and no championships to date. His Racer Rating of 3,463 places him 683rd among active drivers on the Elo-style scale used to compare competitors, reflecting a competitive but modest standing relative to the sport's top performers. In the 2026 season, Burton has yet to record a win or podium through 19 rounds, sitting 29th in the standings, a season that has so far fallen short of his earlier career highlights, including his historic Cup Series victory in 2024.[2]
