🇮🇹 Alessio Rovera

Alessio Rovera is a professional endurance racing driver competing at FIA Platinum grade, the highest level of the FIA sportscar categorisation. He races for AF Corse across the World Endurance Championship, European Le Mans Series, GT World Challenge Europe, Asian Le Mans Series and IMSA WeatherTech, driving Ferrari machinery from the WEC's LMP2 and LMGTE classes to GT3 and GTE cars in multiclass championships. His rating of 5,008 places him among established professionals.[1]

Across seven seasons from 2018 to 2026, Rovera has compiled 18 wins and 35 podiums from 125 starts. He won the 2021 WEC and the 2024 European Le Mans Series in the LMGTE class with AF Corse. In the WEC he has taken 7 wins across 39 starts; in the European Le Mans Series, 6 wins from 24 starts; in GT World Challenge Europe, 2 wins from 29 starts; and a single victory in the Asian Le Mans Series from 17 starts. He also won the Bathurst 12 Hour in 2025 and the 24H Series in 2018. His current 2026 WEC campaign is underway with four rounds raced so far.[2]

His regular opponents in endurance racing include Klaus Bachler, a Platinum-graded professional and three-time champion of major endurance series, against whom Rovera runs closely matched; and Michelle Gatting, a Silver-graded professional with substantial WEC and European Le Mans Series experience, whom he typically finishes ahead of. In rare single-seater machinery, Rovera has finished ahead of Kyle Kirkwood, an elite professional and three-time American single-seater champion with 79 IndyCar starts, and Franco Colapinto, a Platinum-graded driver with 38 Formula 1 entries. Rovera took pole position for the Spa 24 Hours in 2026.
