🇨🇭 Francesco Castellacci

Francesco Castellacci is a professional driver competing in international multiclass endurance racing. FIA Silver graded, he races primarily in the FIA World Endurance Championship for Vista AF Corse, where he has made 68 of his 74 WEC starts since 2015. He has also taken single outings in IMSA WeatherTech's GTD class, the European Le Mans Series LMGT3 class, and British GT's GT3 class, and completed a full Asian Le Mans Series campaign in 2026.[1]

Across 11 seasons on record, Castellacci has taken three wins and 11 podiums from 84 starts, all but one of those finishes coming in WEC. His record in the championship is defined by consistency rather than dominance; he has spent much of his career in the series' Am class and its successors, finishing mid-field in the final championship standings in multiple seasons. The 2026 WEC season is still in progress, with Castellacci currently 22nd in the championship standings after six rounds.[2]

In a field regularly populated by established professionals and former champions, Castellacci holds his own against regular opponents. He and Benjamin Barker, a FIA Gold professional, are closely matched across their common WEC starts. Christian Ried, a three-time WEC LMGTE Am champion and three-time European Le Mans Series champion, is another regular rival with whom Castellacci runs level. He has finished ahead of Matt Campbell, a Platinum-graded established professional who has won WEC and IMSA titles, on four occasions, and beaten Laurin Heinrich, a Gold-graded driver and 2024 IMSA WeatherTech GTDPRO champion, three times across their meetings.
