🇵🇹 Paul Dalla Lana

Paul Dalla Lana is a professional endurance racing driver who competes in multiclass championships with shared-car racing. He races GT3 and GTE cars for Aston Martin Racing in the World Endurance Championship and IMSA WeatherTech, holding an FIA Bronze grading. He raced from 2013 through 2023 and has now retired.[1]

Dalla Lana accumulated 17 wins and 37 podiums across 78 starts in the indexed series. He won the WEC LMGTE Am class in 2015 and claimed the WEC LMGTE Pro class championship in 2017, both with Aston Martin Racing. His record came almost entirely in the WEC, where he took 69 starts; a handful of IMSA appearances rounded out his career. He finished 24th in the WEC standings in 2023, his final season.[2]

A field including FIA Gold-graded professionals and established professionals such as Austin Cindric and Matt Campbell defined his competition. Dalla Lana was closely matched with Christian Ried, a three-time WEC LMGTE Am champion and regular opponent; he typically finished ahead of Benjamin Barker, another Gold-graded professional. His two WEC titles came in a series that brought together amateurs, semi-professionals and graded professionals in the same class, a field in which a Bronze-graded driver's championship standing reflected the calibre of his consistent performance.
