🏳️ Rahel Frey

Rahel Frey is a professional endurance racing driver, FIA Silver grade, racing for Iron Dames in multiclass endurance championships. She has spent the bulk of her career in the World Endurance Championship and European Le Mans Series, sharing Porsche GT3 and GTE machinery in fields that range from amateurs to established professionals. She is also a founder and manager at her team, currently serving as sporting director for GT racing programmes at Team WRT.[1]

Frey's racing record spans from a single season in Formula Renault Eurocup in 2006 through nineteen years of endurance competition. She has taken three wins across her career: one in the 2019 Nürburgring 24 Hours, one in WEC, and one in the European Le Mans Series. Her podium finishes cluster in endurance racing; she has taken fifteen podiums across 92 starts. In the 2025 WEC season, her most recent campaign, she finished 15th in the championship standings over eight rounds raced to date.[2]

Her regular opponents in WEC and European Le Mans are mixed in their credentials. She usually finishes behind Alessio Rovera, a Platinum-graded established professional who won the 2021 WEC Am championship and the 2024 European Le Mans Series Pro-Am title. Against Claudio Schiavoni, an entry-level professional bronze driver, she has raced closely matched. She has beaten stronger drivers sparingly; she finished ahead of Kyle Kirkwood, an elite professional and Indy NXT champion, once across their meetings, and ahead of Edoardo Mortara, a Platinum-graded champion of the 2010 Formula 3 Euro Series, twice. Iron Dames, her team for all but a handful of her starts, has fielded eleven drivers and taken eleven wins across the index.
