🇫🇷 Claudia Hürtgen

Claudia Hürtgen is a professional endurance racing driver who competed in multiclass and single-class GT championships across 12 seasons from 1997 to 2020. She raced for ROOCK Racing in the FIA GT Championship during the late 1990s and later for Hofor Racing by Bonk Motorsport in the national German series, driving GT3 and GT4 cars in shared-car endurance events.[1]

Her indexed record spans 48 starts with a single victory and four podiums. That win came at the 2020 Nürburgring 24 Hours, where she also finished on the podium. In the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, a multiclass German national championship where she made 20 starts between 2010 and 2020, she took two additional podiums. Her earlier FIA GT Championship career with ROOCK Racing from 1997 to 1999 ran to 26 starts without indexed victories, competing in a field mixing amateurs with established professionals.[2]

Against regular opponents in these series, Hürtgen typically finished ahead of entry-level professionals such as Cor Euser, a Formula 3000 and International Formula 3000 driver. She also raced alongside established professionals including Kevin Estre, a Platinum-graded driver and two-time WEC champion, whom she beat once; and Alessandro Nannini, a Formula 1 driver with 77 starts, whom she finished ahead of four times across their meetings in the FIA GT Championship.
