Robert Wickens is a professional road racing driver from Guelph, Ontario, competing in the IMSA Pilot Challenge and IMSA WeatherTech Championship for Bryan Herta Autosport with Curb Agajanian. His FIA Silver rating places him among the development drivers in sportscar racing, a tier below the established professionals. Across 14 seasons of racing from 2006 to 2026, he has accumulated 123 starts with 13 wins and 44 podiums.[1]

Wickens won the 2011 Formula V8 3.5 championship with Carlin and returned to single-seater racing to finish runner-up in the 2010 GP3 Series. In the 2007–2011 Formula V8 3.5 campaign, he scored six wins and fourteen podiums across 31 starts. His record in single-seaters includes victories over elite professionals; he beat Daniel Ricciardo eight times in Formula V8 3.5, where Ricciardo won the championship in 2010, and finished ahead of Nico Hülkenberg three times in the same series. Wickens attempted IndyCar in 2018 with four podium finishes from fourteen starts, competing on six oval tracks and a mix of road and street courses. His move to endurance racing has defined his career since 2017, and he won the 2023 IMSA Pilot Challenge championship while recording three wins and sixteen podiums in 30 starts through 2024.[2]

In the IMSA Pilot Challenge, Wickens competes regularly against a field including Mason Filippi, the 2026 IMSA Pilot Challenge TCR champion, in closely matched racing. He remains active in IMSA's endurance series and made his WeatherTech debut in 2026.
