Friedrich von Bohlen is a retired professional endurance driver who raced in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, a national multiclass championship that fields amateurs through graded professionals in shared-driver GT3 and turbocharged production cars. He spent most of his career with Walkenhorst Motorsport, competing across twelve seasons from 2010 to 2022.[1]
Von Bohlen took six wins and seven podiums from fourteen total starts in endurance racing. His record in the Langstrecken-Serie, where he made eleven starts across those twelve years, produced all six of his wins and accounted for the bulk of his podium finishes. He also made three appearances in the Nürburgring 24 Hours during the final three years of his career.[2]
He was a front-runner in his regular field against club and entry-level professional drivers, finishing ahead of both Ingo Gaupp, a club-level regular opponent, and Moritz Oestreich, an entry-level professional. He also defeated Josh Burdon, an established professional with an international record spanning IMSA, and Marco Holzer, a professional graded Gold who had raced Formula 3 Euro Series.
