Ralph-Peter Rink was a competitive amateur racing in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, a national multiclass endurance championship where amateurs and professionals share the track across fifteen classes. He raced for Pixum Team Adrenalin Motorsport BMW M235i, campaigning turbocharged production-based cars in the SP 2T and SP 3T classes and BMW one-make cup machinery in the Cup 5 class.[1]

Rink made thirteen starts across eight seasons from 2010 to 2018, taking one win and four podiums. His most recent campaign came in 2018, when he finished twenty-first in the championship standings across two rounds. He ran most frequently for Scuderia Offenbach, which fielded him in nine of his starts and counted professional-level drivers among its roster.[2]

Within a field that included Nürburgring regulars and drivers with professional credentials, Rink typically finished behind the championship-winning amateurs he raced most often, Michael Bohrer and Timo Frings, both twice champions in the series. He beat Moritz Oestreich, an entry-level professional with forty series starts and five appearances in the Nürburgring 24 Hours, in four meetings, and took a single victory over Franjo Kovac, a Bronze-graded professional.
