🏳️ Ingo Gaupp

Ingo Gaupp was a club-level driver racing in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie, a multiclass endurance championship run at the Nürburgring where amateur and professional drivers share cars across fifteen classes in a single race. He competed for two seasons from 2010 to 2011, mostly piloting turbocharged production-based cars in the SP 2T class and near-standard production machinery in V5. His main team, Car #402, was a small operation fielding competitive amateur drivers.[1]

Gaupp made 12 starts across two seasons, taking four podiums. In his final season, 2011, he scored once from two races. Against his regular competitors, he typically finished behind Friedrich von Bohlen, a professional with extensive Nürburgring and 24 Hours experience, but ran closely matched with semi-professional Markus Oestreich, who brought thirty Langstrecken-Serie starts to the series. He finished ahead of Stefan Aust, a professional and FIA Bronze driver with substantial experience in multiple endurance series, and topped Steve Jans, a professional who would go on to win multiple championships in the Nürburgring Langstrecken-Serie.[2]
